Institute Happenings
MBA III Semester students of Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies attended an Entrepreneurship Development and Internship Program at EDII Ahmedabad, gaining hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, business development, market research, funding, and industry practices.
Vigilante Carnival 2026 at Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies brought criminology and forensic science to life through immersive, hands-on experiences. The event engaged students in investigative challenges and simulations, fostering critical thinking, teamwork, and real-world application of knowledge beyond the classroom.
Lt. Jayanth Gowda A’s achievement stands as a proud testament to dedication, discipline, and perseverance. Trained at the Officers Training Academy and commissioned into the Garhwal Rifles, his journey reflects the true spirit of leadership and service to the nation.
The Department of BBA at Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies successfully hosted a Management and Cultural Intra-Collegiate Fest, featuring 19 diverse activities. The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony and concluded with a valedictory session, drawing enthusiastic participation from BBA faculty, students, and participants from various institutions.
A First Aid Workshop was conducted at Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies for 3rd Year BBA Aviation students to build awareness and practical skills in handling emergencies. The session emphasized immediate care until medical help arrives, with demonstrations and discussions on essential first aid practices by faculty members Durga Prasad, Daras, Shahida Bano, and Pooja.
The Department of BBA at Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies (AIGS) organized an extension activity at Bless Society for Rural and Urban Development, promoting social responsibility, empathy, and community engagement among students through meaningful interaction with visually challenged and orphaned children.
The Bengaluru City University Inter-College Handball Tournament & Selection Trials (Men & Women) for the academic year 2025–26 were successfully hosted at Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies on 2nd and 3rd. In the men’s category, St Joseph’s CC emerged as champions, with Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies securing the runner-up position. In the women’s category, BMS College claimed the title, while Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies finished as runner-up.
The Department of Criminology and Forensic Science at Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies organized an educational visit to Vidhana Soudha, providing first-year students practical exposure to legislative processes, governance, security systems, and administration, enhancing academic learning, civic awareness, and professional orientation in criminology and forensic science.
Dr. Mahesh P M, Physical Education Director at Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies (AIGS), has been nominated by Bengaluru City University to its official Selection Committee for the 2025–26 Softball teams (Men & Women). He will evaluate and select top student-athletes during trials on January 22, 2026, at Dr. N S A M First Grade College. The chosen teams will represent Bengaluru City University at the prestigious All-India Inter-University Championship.
The Department of Management at Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies conducted an industrial visit to eMudhra Limited, providing students practical exposure to corporate operations, digital trust solutions, technology-driven services, and industry insights.
