PHYSICS: Physics is a branch of study that deals with the study of matter and energy. The subject matter of physics is wide-encompassing.

MATHEMATICS: Mathematics is the study of numbers, structures, space and change. Based on the utilization of mathematical theories it can be classified into Pure Mathematics and Applied Mathematics.

COMPUTER SCIENCE: Computer Science is the study of computers and computational systems. It deals with algorithms and data structures. These form the building blocks for computer systems.

COMPUTER SCIENCE - DATA SCIENCE: It is a specialized program offered by IBM that focuses on the intersection of computer science and data analysis.

After the completion of the B.Sc. program, the students of our Department will be able to:

  • Understand the working and design of the electrical circuits.
  • Good ability to use mathematical models or qualitative methods to formulate, analyze and solve problems.
  • Upon successful completion students should be able to: Apply the fundamental principles of measurement, matter, atomic theory, chemical periodicity, chemical bonding, general chemical reactivity and solution chemistry to subsequent courses in science.
  • Demonstrate basic manipulative skills in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and beginning calculus.
  • Communicate mathematical ideas both orally and in writing.
  • Investigate and apply mathematical problems and solutions in a variety of contexts related to science, technology, business and industry, and illustrate these solutions using symbolic, numeric, or graphical methods.

Eligibility: Pass in Pre-University / Higher Secondary / 10+2 / ‘A’ Level or equivalent in Science stream (PCMC or PCMB or PCME) of any recognized board or council.
