    Acharya is proud to cater to students from diverse backgrounds, all of who have made their campus life an enriching one, thanks to the various activities the college offer. From engaging in various clubs spanning cultural, academic, and recreational interests to participating in a wide range of sports, students have ample opportunities for personal growth and community involvement. For instance, Acharya has more than 10 clubs, including music club, dance club, photography club and others, that provide students with necessary recreational avenues.

    Acharya also stands as a beacon of excellence within the Karnataka and Goa Directorate of the NCC, consistently demonstrating its commitment to both the organization and the nation through the dynamic endeavors of its cadets. Our cadets have represented the Directorate at the esteemed Republic Day Parade held annually in New Delhi, and they have consistently brought home prestigious awards at various esteemed camps and competitions, including the TSC and IGC.

    The sporting facility at Acharya is one of the best in the country. The institution’s 10,000-seater stadium, enhanced with state-of-the-art floodlights for optimal illumination, adds a touch of grandeur to sporting events hosted within its premises.

    Events like 'Habba,' the annual three-day techno-cultural festival, showcase the talents and creativity of our student body.

    The presence of an active alumni network fosters mentorship and career guidance, while the cafeteria, located in various focal points around the 120-acre campus, serves as a hub for socializing and relaxation.     Bengaluru City University organized the Inter College JUDO Championship, during which Mr. Shahal, a third-year BCA student from AIGS, achieved an impressive third place and was awarded the Bronze Medal amidst strong competition.

    Athletic
    During the Bengaluru City University Inter College Athletic Meet for the 2025-26 academic year, Mr. Abhishek, representing the AIGS MBA program, participated in the shot-put event. His outstanding performance and persistent effort were evident throughout the competition. Facing strong contenders from various colleges, Mr. Abhishek showcased great skill and determination, ultimately earning a well-deserved third place in the event.

    The Bengaluru City University Inter-College Badminton Women's Tournament was held at St. Joseph’s Commerce College and brought together a showcase of impressive talent and sportsmanship. The AIGS women's badminton team demonstrated exceptional skills and unwavering determination throughout the competition. Their remarkable performance earned them the runners-up title, leaving a lasting impression on both fans and opponents.
