Anti-Ragging Committee

    The Anti-Ragging Committee is dedicated to preventing and resolving all forms of ragging within the institution. Its main goal is to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment. The committee raises awareness about the negative effects and legal consequences of ragging, ensures prompt investigations of incidents, and implements disciplinary actions against offenders. It also provides support and counseling to victims in line with national anti-ragging laws. Through monitoring, unannounced inspections, and active engagement with students, the committee aims to eliminate ragging and foster a culture of dignity and respect, serving as a confidential avenue for reporting incidents to maintain a ragging-free academic environment. The institution upholds a ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY against ragging.

    Mission

    To prohibit, prevent, and eliminate the scourge of ragging in the institution, thereby establishing a Zero-Tolerance policy as to ragging in the institution.

    Objectives

    • To prevent ragging incidents in and around the campus.
    • To establish a monitoring mechanism in the institution to make note of any such ragging incidents and to take necessary punitive measures against such activities, and to ensure that the college campus is ragging-free.
    • To establish a Zero-Tolerance policy against any form of ragging activities.
    • To establish an amicable atmosphere among different grades of students through various measures, which prevent ragging from occurring.
